Place the green sieve (male pin) onto the pink tray (female slot).
Fit the orange ring onto the top of the green sieve.
Add wood pellets until they reach approximately three fingers in height. Cattus recommends using 100% pine pellets.
1. Fill the Hygie Box Easy and place it next to the tray your cats are currently using.
2. Put a small amount of soiled material from the old tray on top of the clean pellets in the Hygie Box. This helps the cats recognize the new litter box and start using it quickly.
3. If you notice any resistance to the change, place the tray they are used to inside the Hygie Box sieve for 2 to 3 days.
4. Remove the old tray once the cats have adopted the Hygie Box Easy as their new litter box.
1. Remove feces with a scoop and dispose of them in the toilet.
2. Check the tray daily and remove the urine-soaked sawdust whenever necessary.
3. For daily care, wash the parts using water only. Weekly, or when necessary, use a neutral/mild product for more thorough cleaning.
4. Refill the pellets, maintaining a layer of at least two fingers over the sieve screen.
